I started singing before I could really talk, or so my mother tells me. I wrote my first song with my twin sister when we were 3 years old. It was about being cold and wanting to go inside \"where its toasty warm\" Growing up on a farm in Florida with no TV, we had our grandparent\'s musicals on VHS and classical and classic records to entertain us. We also played outside, rode horses, and made up songs in our treehouse. When I discovered Hanson, I realized I could make music and started learning to harmonize. When I discovered Brandi Carlile Band, I saw how I could be enough with a guitar, my voice, and poetry from the soul. So I started performing as a solo singer/songwriter. I released the \"Brief Sounds EP\" and \"Ghost In the Corner EP\" and in 2013 put out the full length album \"The Left Atrium\" which won Best Female CD in the LA Music Critics Awards and features a duet with Zane Carney. The video for the single \"Not Your Fault\" featuring actor Justin Hartley (Revenge, Smallville) was an exclusive feature on RyanSeacrest.com. I did a 3 week tour in Europe through \"Songs & Whispers\" this past April and am currently putting together a US tour which will include 1-mile barefoot walks before each show through Hanson\'s \"Take The Walk\" program to raise awareness and funds for communities in Africa to build wells, schools, and healthcare. I\'m excited to spread the music and contribute!
