Visual Art – Portland
I received my BFA in printmaking from California College of the Arts in 2004, and have been working one way or another in the visual arts ever since, from working as a letter press printer to dyeing yarn. Moving to Portland this past April has offered me more time and space to dedicate to my 2-D art, which takes the form of collages and artist books. I use various materials, especially paper lithography, done on my improvised press (a pasta machine) to create the layers that I use in my work.
