Visual Art – Connecticut

Making art is one of the most liberating experiences you can have as a human. You are saying OK to yourself for any thought, movement or action you decide to take. It's OK to make mistakes - you'll figure it out the next time or as they say - there are no mistakes in art...honestly - why isn't everyone an artist? My husband and I met in Boston during our freshman year at Massachusetts College Of Art & Design. We both majored in Industrial Design but entered the big bad world during the collapse in 2008. We quickly found jobs, but ultimately ended up opening a kids art studio together called SplatterBox. We have owned and operated sBox for over 7 years and have had the best time! BUT - something was missing. I've painted through the years here and there and enjoyed every minute of it but life can get in the way! This brings me to my New Years Resolution in 2018 : Focus more on my art. That February, I started a 100 day challenge that ultimately led me to where I am today! I'm excited to explore and see where my art will take me!
