Larissa Monique Hauck

Larissa Monique Hauck is an emerging artist that has recently graduated from the Alberta College of Art and Design where she received her Bachelor’s of Fine Arts with Distinction in the field of painting. In 2013 she studied abroad in Sydney, Australia where she attended the Sydney College of the Arts. Her artwork has been exhibited nationally and internationally. Larissa creates otherworldly figures often reminiscent of the feminine form. The flesh displayed as an expression of the body’s own testament to time. With an emphasis on color and detail she draws in the viewer with the promise of perfection and by activating the uncanny she prompts feelings of uncertainty.
