I\'ve been a crafter from the start though I never really realized it until now. Knitting, sewing, whittling, metalsmithing, glassblowing, painting, drawing, basket weaving...I\'m pretty sure I have all of those Kraft books that teach you how to make friendship bracelets and apply plastic rhinestones to your barrettes. My business bloomed out of a friendly nudge from an employer and the fact that I had too much jewelry and my mom did, as well. I opened up my Etsy store in 2010, read as many articles and blog posts and discussion comments as possible, took thousands of photos and here I am! Still loving it and definitely honing in on what works and what doesn\'t. I\'m squeezing in as much jewelry as possible in between full time grad school but I\'m not complaining since grad school brought me out to California!
