Visual Art – Denver
I'm a recent graduate of Metropolitan State University of Denver who paints with loud, bright colors and heavy saturation. I find most of my work rests in a niche between impressionism and expressionism, employing Acrylic and various dry media materials such as encaustic wax and ball-point pen. I use a representational style with a range of content that spans from mythological creatures to modern landscapes to evoke an emotion in the viewer. Ultimately, I aim to demonstrate aesthetic interest and elicit a response with the hopes of sparking a theoretical dialogue among the audience.
