Leah Chyma is a mixed media artist hailing from the middle of the middle, USA, who specializes in bringing life and emotion to black and white geometric shapes. Her work developed after years of ceramics, reading music and the inheritance of her parents vinyl collection.
After graduating from the University of Iowa with a degree focused on Art and Creative Writing, Leah found herself called to the heart of everything awesome, Austin, where she has spent the last four years living, breathing and incorporating the unique culture into every aspect of her creativity. Her versatile art has lead to an unparalleled hodgepodge of the written word, passionate desire for change, mixed mediums and heart.
With an installation of the midwestern work ethic, frugalness and versatility, Leah puts everything she has on the page… physically and literally.
