Libby Watkins is a Sydney based artist. Emerging from her northern beaches garage as art projects took over her home. Studying art & design in Sydney & London, Libby began her career in the fashion industry. After five the home studio would take over and doing what she loved more than anything at nights. Libby is working as a freelance designer in her studio collaborating with Brands, art direction and design.
Libby has exhibited in many art shows, private galleries and you will find her bespoke works in a number of lifestyle stores around Australia.
Libby likes to emotionally communicate with colour, and the play of colour physiologically , leaving you with a certain feeling texture, layered and binded with colour for example her signature blue bottle, people either connect with a feeling of hurt if they have experienced an injury or sting or some people connect with a feeling of bliss and enjoy the feeling as the blue bottle drifts away and floats into the sea!!
