Lisa Zinna

HELLO. My name is Lisa Zinna and photography has been a passion of mine for many years. More recently, I began to get serious about photo editing techniques. I've spent countless hours editing photos to improve my skills and learn all the facets of the software so that I can turn a basic photograph into what I term "photo art". PROCESS. Part of my process involves using original art that I create, such as paper collages or abstract paintings using watercolors or acrylics. I then take a photograph of the art and use it as an additional layer to create a multidimensional piece. PLACE. I live in Austin, TX and love to walk and wander around snapping photographs of the architecture and skyline. When traveling around Texas or anywhere else, I've got my camera ready for any and all inspirations. It's everywhere! After I get a fresh set of photos, I get busy layering with artwork I created or swapping out the original colors. COLOR. As you can see, my work tends towards bright, bold, and playful colors. Pinks, purples, lime, and aqua are major players in my color arsenal. The final color selections and mood of the image is very important to me, and even though I call it "color crazy", much thought goes into the final color decision.
