VEGA has become a celebrated artist, fashion and textile designer who exudes creativity on every fabric, taking inspiration from music, art, or any character. Vega has launched comprehensive proposals to the Anglo-market, which have gained a great deal of attention from the Fashion and Art industry. She not only specializes in designs, creating her own patterns from her art projects, she is also the creator of an accessory line that is 100% organic (inspired by the art of recycling).
Among her most important runway appearances, Vega has showcased her collections at Miami International Fashion Week, Fashion’s Night Out, Cotton 24 Hours, and recently she has presented her collection “The Beast” in the New York Fashion Week 2014 in NYC.
Her work and dedication has been recognized with awards and exceptionally important editorials such as Ocean Drive Magazine, Venue Magazine, Revista Uno, Tinsel Tokyo Magazine, Complot Magazine, Innova Magazine as well as mayor nationwide tv channels like Fashion TV, E Entertainment, Cosmopolitan TV, NBC News, Univision, Telemundo and CNN en Español.
This year, Vega has presented her newest collection at the Miami Fashion Week 2014 and in the same night she has won first prize of the Eastern Air Lines Flight Attendant Uniform Competition becoming the head Designer of Eastern Air Lines.
Her Clothing Lines and Accessories are available in exclusive locations in USA (New York, Miami, Los Angeles), Panama, Venezuela and Brasil. She is also represented as designer in the Art Store of MOCA (Museum of Contemporary Art of North Miami) and MACZUL (Museum of Contemporary Art of Zulia).
