Makeup by Mikala

Mikala is a professional freelance makeup artist and licensed esthetics instructor. Her love of makeup began at a very young age when she used to watch her mother apply her makeup each day. By the time she was in high school her curiosity about makeup artistry became her passion, and she knew she wanted to become a professional makeup artist. Mikala loves creating simple, clean beauty looks in addition to daring, bold makeup looks. All of her makeup looks are done by hand without the help of stencils, guides, airbrush machines, etc. Creating unique looks to suit your taste is her number one goal. Mikala developed curriculum for the first makeup artistry program in the state of Oklahoma, and spent two years teaching the makeup artistry and esthetics programs at Clary Sage College in Tulsa. After helping with the launch of Clary Sage Salon & Spa Franchise and managing the prototype store, Mikala is now attending school in order to pursue a bachelor’s degree in public relations at the University of Oklahoma.
