Performing Art – New Orleans
My name is Mance Davis. My Author and Poet name is Marcus Page. I was born in New Orleans Louisiana in 1977. I attended St. Augustine high school where I began writing poetry in my freshman year of 1992. In 1996 I attended Southern University in New Orleans. In 1997 I began performing poetry at Ebony Square a well know poetry spot in New Orleans. I was introduced to other talented poets as I continued to perfect my craft. I have been writing off and on since then, until I meet this wonderful person how inspired me to share my God given gift with the world. In 2005 I moved to Las Vegas for a short period. In 2006 I moved back to Louisiana and began writing again. In 2008 I wrote my first book entitled The Awakening (a collection of poems) By Marcus Page. Since then I\'ve written several book.
