Margaret Jacobson Art

My name is Margaret and I am an oil painter. I am a self-taught artist with professional degrees in Political Science and Global Security Studies. I love to paint; it helps me connect with myself and discover who I am as a person. My style of art cannot be classified under today's established art categories. I paint realistically, however, I use abstract elements, as well as infuse a Van Gogh flare in some of my art work. I love to use color and convey movement in my art pieces. I also like to paint pieces for a purpose and with meaning.
