Visual Art – Boston

I am fascinated with how things work. Simple everyday items are often so complex once you open them up. I began to tinker with objects at a young age. I took all of my toys apart as a kid and it\'s what I got in trouble for the most. I developed my skills through odd jobs during my teens and twenties. I have worked as an industrial leak repair technician, tow truck driver, computer technician, and café manager. These experiences taught me that situations are never by the book and you have to think creatively and on your feet to improvise solutions. I turned to sculpture and mixed media recently to get my mind off of strong emotions about my relationships. Love is something I lacked growing up and it\'s something I look very hard for despite never having much luck. Art is my way of expressing those feelings. My studio looks like an alchemist\'s laboratory. I like experimenting with recycled electronics, antiques, metals, clay, and chemicals to create my work.
