Visual Art – New York - Brooklyn
Originally a painter from North Carolina, I moved to Massachusetts to pursue my MFA in Ceramics. After graduating, I moved to Boston to make work and expand my knowledge of functional forms and surface decoration through Mudflat Studios in Somerville. Ceramics allows myself to not only create three dimensionally but also hone in on my background in painting and drawing- it truly is the best of both worlds. Realizing that Boston didn't quite feel like home, I am now living and working in Brooklyn, NY.
