Fashion – Austin
Megan is an Austin, Texas based fashion designer, born and raised in the area. The love for fashion and art began at age six, with a gown made from her blanket and hair ties. Her interest soon blossomed into drawing and clothing design, and Megan's teen years were filled with altering her own clothing without any training or sewing machine.
Megan attended Texas Tech University (2007-2012), where the apparel design journey came to life. During that time she made custom clothing for a woman with multiple sclerosis, worked at David's Bridal as an alterations specialist, Hancock Fabric, and interned with Linda Asaf in downtown Austin. Megan graduated from Texas Tech, August 2012, with a Bachelor of Science in Apparel Design and Manufacturing.
She currently designs, creates, and alters women's clothing from her home studio located in Taylor, Tx. Megan's designs are feminine, edgy, fun and timeless. She wants to create special pieces and details to empower the wearer to exude confidence.
