Melissa Renee

Melissa Renee Motte is a 24 year old choreographer from Edmond, Oklahoma. Born in Berkley, California, Melissa moved to Oklahoma in her teen years. Melissa began to realize she wanted a career in Dance at the age of 18. Melissa was accepted into the Dance Program at the University of Central Oklahoma in 2010. There, Melissa had the pleasure of training under an amazing faculty, along wih some guest artists such as: Andrew Palermo, KiKi Lucas, Jessica Riemer, Will Johnston, and many more. Here is also where she realized she had a special gift when it came to choreographing. In her college years, Melissa has choreographed many pieces for UCO\'s student showcases. A Few of her pieces were picked to perform in their Senior Showcases. Melissa also was a part of UCO\'s performing dance company, Kaleidoscope, for the 2013- 2014 year. Melissa Graduated with a BFA in Dance Performance in May of 2014. Melissa put on her very first choreography showcase titled \"Unleashed\" in June 2014, which she considers a great success of hers. Melissa teaches Jazz, Hip-Hop, Contempoary, Pom, and Technique. Though her specialty is Contemporary. She has been teaching in a studio setting for 4 years. Melissa has choreographed for Studios, High Schools, Oklahoma\'s R.A.C.E Dance Company, and has even taught a few Master Classes. Melissa currently lives in Los Angeles, CA where she continues to pursue her career.
