A humanist photographer + cinematographer hailing from a small town in the Mojave Desert, Tawny Tran is interested in the hearts and minds of people and the connections that bring out their most natural selves. She loves figuring out what makes our souls tick, whether music, dance, film, or art causes them to soar. She is inspired by us and our passions to achieve happiness for ourselves and to spread the joy to others. Capturing our aspirations within the frame is her passion. Graduating with a Bachelor's in Cinema and Television Arts from CSUF, Tawny continues to grow in her art as she pursues to master the art of cinematography, alongside photography. Her work as extended from her time on set with FOX's Modern Family and short films she has created. She was recently a co-Director of Photography for the short film "Mobius", which was selected to screen in Newport Beach Film Festival 2016 and won for "Best in Show" and "Experimental" in CSU Media Arts 2016. Tawny continually aspires to capture the things that make us human, to create mementos that remind us of our passions, our downfalls, our hopes...our journey in this life.
