There was a little girl who was afraid of the dark. She knew the monsters festered about in her wake. Her lights were kept on throughout the night to ward off any otherworldly influence. As time went on, the fear persisted. The day came when the light fell away and they came to play. She decided to stop being afraid saying, "I am an adult, I need not fear!" She walked in the void to find the beings to be her closest companions. To this day, she paints their lovely faces on scattered bits of paper to understand their story.
