Meryl Haywood is a born and raised Maui Artist. She grew up on the North Shore of Maui and started surfing, windsurfing and making Art from a very early age.
At seventeen years old, Meryl was fortunate enough to attend the Florence Academy of Art in Italy for three years, where she learned the classical techniques of oil painting of the Old Masters.
Today, at 24 years old, Meryl Haywood is best known for her hypnotic paintings of female forms that are brought to life through surrealism, realism and nature.
