Performing Art – New Orleans

Michaela, originally from New Orleans, LA, began dancing at the age of two and at 15 started her training as a competitive dancer where she studied numerous styles of dance including ballet, jazz, tap, hip hop, contemporary, lyrical and even bollywood. Michaela has received numerous scholarships with JUMP, LA Dance Magic, Velocity, Dupree Dance, The Pulse and Hollywood vibe dance convention and has trained among some of the best teachers and choreographers in the industry. Michaela is now continuing her dance training, teaching and choreography career in Baton Rouge, La. She travels on the weekends around the country with Dupree Dance Convention and Competition as an assistant teacher and Publics Relations Representative. She has also traveled around the country and to Guatemala assisting Master Teacher, Meghan Way. She is currently completing her senior year at Louisiana State University where she will receive a B.A. in communication studies in hopes that it will aid her in her journey as a visual communicator. Michaela has a passion for sharing things visually, as she is also a photographer and videographer. Her hard work ethic and talent combined with her unique style and personality are the perfect fusion and those qualities shine with everything that she does.
