Visual Art – Atlanta
Currently living in Athens, GA, I have attended four art schools in completion of a Bachelor\'s Degree of Fine Arts. The School of the Art Institute of Chicago, SCAD Atlanta, The School of Visual Arts, NYC, and the University of Georgia have helped on the way to a discovery of the most recent works. These works address the story behind a portrait, literal and figuratively. While there is a face to see, there is much more to be seen behind an expression through paint. Unrealistic and vibrant colors challenge the viewer to ask questions about the nature of the figure and the real versus the imagined. The process of the person is parallel to the process of the painting. The story is painted, but ultimately it is up to the viewer as to where it leads.
