Modern Art by Steve Moss

Visual Art – Atlanta

I do not believe that less is more. I believe that more is more. . . and even more. Somehow as a teenager in a small southern town with minimal external influences/exposure, I fell in love with art. I fell in love with the idea that I could create something that might thrill the eyes and speak to the hearts of people I might otherwise never meet. My life ever since has been dedicated to making art. My goal as an artist is to make beautiful objects that provide immediately accessible visual pleasure as well as the complex delight of ongoing contemplation. Artistic Influences I was always fascinated with the work, philosophy and, of course, the overall attitude that generated the DADA Movement. The impact of this work is apparent in the production of art today, whether consciously or subliminally. I consider it the most influential and earth shaking movement in modern art.
