Music – San Francisco

A native S.F. performer and composer: voice, violin and electronics, film, traditional and experimental theatre, and screenwriting. Within the last several years, I've been a multifaceted artist and worker in general. I lived in my mom's native land in Hawaii a while back, worked as a skills trainer in special education and managed a 5 acre Kona coffee and macadamia nut farm. Soon after, I performed in a Waikiki based multi-media production with a Cirque-du-Soleil affiliated team as well as in television and film with the most recent "Indiana Jones" and a featured role on ABC's "Lost." I collaborated with artists in Mongolia, Romania, and Japan using music and drama for social bridging and emotional processing. My work with the revolutionary Theatre of the Oppressed founder, Augusto Boal, reminded me how artists make significant changes within social constructs - beyond expectations; this inspired me big time. I since performed out of Montreal, where I previously studied psychology and theatre at McGill University and composed for local projects and performed with bands until I moved to New York. There, I performed an off-Broadway revival, "Let my People Come," performed with indie bands, projects and continued to write short plays, screenplays, create short films and interactive children's shows, some of which proudly won prizes along the way. I've recently become a member of SF-based immersive theatre repertory, Epic Immersive. I am also currently constructing a dramedy series based in San Francisco, which incites my show's aesthetic and personality. My performances are overall: multi-platform, nostalgic, sassy-at-times, melodic, ethereal, synth-acoustic, and an atmosphere-driven stew of music and presentation.
