Music – Atlanta

Moon is a 26 year old African American upcoming Singer,Mixer, spoken word artist and Instrumentalist from Atlanta,Ga. Born and raised in Brooklyn, NY Moon has always valued and displayed musicianship since elementary school. She started playing the Alto Sax for the P.S.11 and M.S.103 concert band under the direction of Ms.Kat Iwanusa. Through her freshman and sophomore year of high school, she began playing Alto for the Bedford Academy High School Concert Band, Jazz Band as well as Drumline and singing for Choir Under the direction of Mr. Deshawn Withers. She then moved to Atlanta, GA and played Alto Sax and Marimbas for the Riverdale High School Concert Band and Big Band under the direction of Mr. Michael Pla. She has also had the honor of playing Alto Sax in the Florida A&M Marching Band Camp 2011. Her style can be described as alternative r&b which pays homage to inspirations such as SZA,Leela James,Lana Del Rey, The Weeknd, JMSN, 6LACK and many more. After conquering her struggles and hardships, her life long purpose is to connect and teach the world no matter what obstacles lies ahead, there is always a victory through enlightenment and growth.
