For as long as I can remember, I have been fascinated with small shiny things and the art of adornment. My first jewelry memory is of my mom showing me a sterling silver cuff with a Lapis stone made by her brother. I can recall being utterly amazed that he had the skill to manipulate metal and make this beautiful gift by hand. Metals and the idea of creating jewelry began to captivate me. I began my journey by making and assembling beaded jewelry and selling those creations out of my backpack to friends in high school. I eventually moved away from bead work and began delving into jewelry fabrication and lost wax casting techniques. Creating jewelry is where my passion lies. I fill my days searching for the perfect stones, dreaming up new designs, and pulling those dreams in to reality. Right now I am a one woman show in jewelry design and fabrication but I hope to open my own production/teaching studio in the near future.
