Mulga

Mulga is Joel Moore, a Sydney based artist, freelance illustrator and poet who paints murals, designs t-shirts and runs the Mulga clothing label. He loves to paint bearded folk. He draws beards, animals, zombies and wacky characters and has a unique style combining crazy colours overlaid by intricate line work. Mulga writes a poem for every piece of art he creates and is known for his entertaining poetry recitals. ‘I draw beards because I am intrigued by the unique mystical power beards possess. I am here to spread the magical wonder of beards and ensure every man and woman has the opportunity to grow a bushy beard at least once in their lives’. Mulga is 31 years old, married with 2 little kids and a third on the way. He lives in Miranda, South of Sydney.
