Photography – Ottawa

I\'m fortunate to have traveled as much as I have. So much more than a lifestyle, travelling is a way of life and I can\'t see not travelling for the rest of my life. I sometimes question if travel is worth the sacrifice, but it is in my thoughts of the road and of people I\'ve met, that bring me comfort. I am attracted to every place I visit first and foremost, photographically. My politics may enter in at the earliest stages of development, but my camera brings me to places I otherwise wouldn\'t be in. I now feel compelled to travel not just for beauty or exoticism, but for the stories and experiences of the people within. I graduated from Carleton University with an MA in Criminology and a Minor in Law. From there, I spent two and a half years in Asia teaching English before returning to Canada where I\'ve completed my studies at the School of the Photographic Arts: Ottawa (SPAO). If I knock on your door, it\'s because I also fundraise.
