Visual Art – San Francisco

In having a dedicated space for my art making, and in consistently maintaining the act of creating, my skills have improved significantly. Because of this, I have adopted an attitude of experimentation, in that 'everything is a test; and every test is a success.' This guiding principle has permitted me to work faster and more freely, pushing the material further that I ever thought possible. I'm willing to take chances on work that I previously would have deemed 'too precious' to experiment on. Experimenting is now part of my process, and the results are just starting to get interesting. I enjoy using varied means of forming, contouring, assembling, texturing, problem-solving and glazing the pieces. My work is intentionally funny or twisted. I experiment, welcome all results, learn and continue to develop. That is my process, and I trust that my joyous experimentation is apparent in the results.
