Nicole Melanson is a multidisciplinary artist who creates abstract, meditative works inspired by forms she sees repeated in nature and the greater cosmos. Her abstract paintings, drawings, and sculptures echo intertwined forms of cosmic clouds, roiling seas, and other natural elements expressed in bold, bright colors. Working almost entirely automatically and acting as a medium or conduit for universal energies that govern the movement and shape of everything in our world and beyond, her process aims to reveal the presence of those very universal systems and energies within us.
Nicole works daily in her home studio in Brooklyn, NY alongside her dog Pizza.
