I am a 25 year old woman with a passion for expression. Originally from Maui, Hawaii; I moved to San Francisco 3 1/2 years ago to become a trained artist. I believe that a good piece of art should make you feel something. My goal is to take abstract emotion and make it tangible through personifications and symbolism. In my current phase of my career, I am focusing on contrast. Not necessarily the contrast of colors but the contrast of simple vs. complex, melancholy and mania, calm and chaos. I continue to use people as my main subject matter as I find them the most complex, interesting, and beautiful.
