Visual Art – New York - Brooklyn

I'm a 26 year-old, CT based, artist who has always used creation as an escape. I would describe my technique as somewhere in between an impatient anarchist, and a Delorian-driving mad scientist. I find there is nothing more invigorating than emerging myself in different colors, textures, smells, temperatures, and on an especially carefree day, tastes. Every painting is an experimental attempt to visualize the resulting feelings into the world. Everything I create is inspired by a moment, a state in time as abstract and chaotic as the piece itself. It is a representation of what goes on in my mind, filtered by environmental experiences, to create something tangible and receivable by others. Color is an exciting, multifaceted drug with few rules and endless possibilities. I personally use acrylics because of their glossy, rubbery, gooey look and feel. I use different mediums to manipulate the acrylic, and with reckless control, throw paint on my canvas, whatever that canvas may be. I use my fingers, spoons, plastic bags, palette knives, whatever I feel I need to do to get the job done. The best tool I have is an appreciation for how the paint feels, reacts, and where it wants to be. The canvas speaks, and I do nothing more than carry out it's demands. @One_sick_cheese follow on Instagram for hours of wholesome entertainment and some good clean fun.
