Ozmos Street Fashion

Stephanie Hollis is a current Bachelor of Fine Arts Fashion student studying at QUT Kelvin grove, Brisbane Australia. Born and raised in Ipswich QLD, located halfway between Brisbane and the country, Stephanie believes that this "best of both worlds" upbringing has strongly influenced her design aesthetic. Focusing on traditional hand crafts Stephanie undertook a student exchange in 2015 to Bath Spa University, UK to refine her embroidery and needlework skills. Upon return these skills were applied to a pre-existing passion for science, sci-fi, retrofuturism and Harajuku street fashions, melding the traditional and futuristic to create the Ozmos Street Fashion aesthetic. Recipient of the 2016 Vaughan award- granted by Suzi Derbyshire deputy Vice Chancellor of QUT, Stephanie seeks to continue her work experimenting with needlework and textiles and applying them in fun ways.
