Born to perform, European bombshell Sapphire Snow revels in the spotlight.
A burlesque artist and vintage dance specialist, Sapphire is renowned for her grace and air of sophistication when she take to the floor. She is an old-school entertainer who loves nothing more than to entice the audience into the palm of her hand.
Sapphire has taught and danced numerous dance styles at an international level, including Blues, Swing, 1920’s Charleston, Ballroom, Tango and Vintage Jazz, giving a signature Sapphire twist to each of her entrancing and cheeky performances.
As a burlesque artist, she has performed all over Australia and shaken her tail feathers at the Edinburgh Fringe, as well as the famed New Orleans and New York Burlesque Festivals. She is a regular performer at the Australian Burlesque Festival and will appear at this year’s event in October.
Sapphire has created a much-loved body of Burlesque and Variety shows including “The Clover Club” for Adelaide Cabaret Festival, performance troupe “The Gin House Floozies”, and most recently “Peaches ’n’ Gin On Tour” - taking burlesque and comedy to regional Australia.
Her productions as Peaches ’n' Gin Burlesque sold-out the Adelaide Fringe 5 years in a row, and she is proud to produce Adelaide’s longest running monthly burlesque show “Club Burlesk”.
Sapphire is equally passionate about performing and mentoring other artists. Her outstanding acts have earned her many competitive titles, but she says that the thing she could not live without is the love of performing for a live audience.
