Phoebe Bradstreet Art & Henna

Hi there, my name is Phoebe and I create! I have been creating art my whole life. I love the free-flowing, passionate, meditative space it takes me to. I have been drawing for as long as I can remember. My dad is also an artist, I think I inherited the art gene from him. I'm sure I was encouraged to draw at a young age because of that, but never pushed. I remember always being naturally attracted to creating art no matter what. Lines, depth, shadows, color; it all makes sense how to fit them together in my brain. I am drawn mostly to intricate line-work, but then also the opposite end of the spectrum, very simple works that use only the basic shadows and lines. Although, my love for intricacy is what got me into Henna tattoos(a paste made from plant that grows in tropical and subtropical regions of Africa and Asia that stains the skin for about a week). I love exploring different mediums to work with, and I know I will be creating forever, it is a huge part of who I am and deeply rooted within me.
