The modern artist, Picasso Blac, emerged as an art genius in 5th grade. After winning countless awards for his artwork in elementary school, he was presented with the opportunity to attend 6th through 12th grades at the number one performing arts school in Charleston, South Carolina. Picasso Blac, a true native of Charleston, SC, grew up in a tough environment. As he walked himself home every day from school carrying pieces of his artwork, he witnessed regular drug deals in his community. He would pass local drug dealers who would shout, “Picasso Blac, paint me a picture for my mother!” After seeing how drugs had negatively affected his neighborhood, he invested his time into perfecting his craft. As he matured, Picasso Blac became a modern day Renaissance Man-picking up other craft skills such as cake décor, rapping and tattooing. Picasso Blac was inspired by poetry to start creating rap music and later incorporated it into his art pieces. As a young man, Picasso Blac is actively captivating the art scene in Atlanta. Picasso Blac is committed to assisting young artists in expressing their talent through the arts. ...more
