Accessories – Columbus
I am a 26 year old with a degree in Apparel Product Development from Ohio State University. I currently reside in the Harrison West area of Columbus, where I draw inspiration from the uneven brick streets and inviting church steeples.
Poor Sparrow began in 2009, in my small apartment in Italian Village. It was right after I graduated from Ohio State – I had recently interned at a small fashion design company in Chicago and that really got me thinking of creating a line of my own. The freedom and independence of it was really appealing to me. Shortly after, I began freelancing in the fashion industry. That is when it really hit me that I wanted to do my own thing. I wanted the ideas to be mine. I wanted to do something original and unique that came directly from my own ideas.
