PorshiaJ, born March 25, 1993, discovered her voice at a very young age. She grew up with a stutter, so she didn't enjoy speaking often. With support from her father she was able to not only find her voice but herself. In High School she was student director of her choir for 4 years. In College she won numerous awards, some including Miss Phi Beta Sigma, and 1st place FAU's Apollo night. She also opened for Marques Houston at FAU's Valentines Day concert. Porshiaj has since released her latest Ep titled "Club Love" written solely by her. Porshia has landed multiple opportunities in both her singing and dancing career. She's featured in “Let’s let Love” feat. Sean Paul, as a dancer. Porshiaj is now a vocal teacher, and volunteers as a vocalist for Church by Glades. Her drive and unmatchable talent is more than enough for this rising star to break into this industry.
