Hi! I'm Laura. I am a graduate of FIDM and I am the sole owner, designer, and maker of Pretty Star clothing. Pretty Star is the reincarnation of my first line "Candy Spooky Clothing" which I started in 2007 as a senior in high school as a source for my own colorful clothing. As I evolved, so did my line, and as such there is now a lot more “Candy” influence and much less “Spooky”. The new name is a way for me to let loose and focus on making what I love making; Pretty things! Through Pretty Star, I provide cute girls all over the world with one of a kind handmade clothing to feed their adorable addictions. Pretty Star consists of bright, bold, and sometimes kitschy clothing, from dresses made of gumdrops to bunny-eared bodysuits, all the way to fully custom pieces. Not even my imagination (as strange and endless as it may be) can limit the possibilities!
