Visual Art – Chicago
Paul is an Illustrator/writer/designer from Chicago Illinois. Having drawn all his life, his illustrations usually carry a playful and dark tone with a visual style reminiscent of Cartoons and Comic books. While attending film school In Chicago Illinois, some of his paintings and design work began to show signs of some of the street art he was exposed to.
There are more influences that inform his work than he can shake a stick at, But that large base of influence gives an eclectic voice to his body of work. He almost takes on different styles in order to present his message as he sees fit.
At the end of a long day schlepping around trays and pouring wine,his truest voice and style are that of pen and ink. A very graphic emotive style.
