RaeDiant Movement

Erica "Rae" Philadelphia native received her B.F.A in Modern Dance and has had the opportunity to work with noted dance companies such as New LeJa Dances, Mahogany Dance Theatre, Tania Isaac Dance, and Lesole's Dance Project. Erica has trained in many styles of dance ranging from Ballet, Modern, and Jazz to African and Caribbean. She has also had the opportunity to share what she has learned and her love of dance as an instructor with the Dance Institute of Washington’s Education and Outreach Program, and studio instruction in Bowie, MD. In 2011 Erica has also developed her own program Raediant Movement; a traveling dance workshop presenter, providing workshops and classes in various dance techniques in both Philadelphia & DC Metro Areas. Alongside Connecting Vibes USA & UK, Erica has had the opportunity to present her own choreography as a part of their Grenada Tour in St. George’, Grenada. As she continues to grow in dance Erica’s goal is to bring the joy that dance gives her to others in the form of education and performance. RaeDiant Movement's Mission To bring a new light to the performing arts, by exploring dance technique, styles, and traditions of the Caribbean along side those taught here in the States; Showing the similarities in movement and common grounds that dance has, which is freedom of expression. Simultaneously exposing new dancers to various styles of dance, while challenging seasoned dancers to step outside there comfort zone. Continuing to Dance, Teach, Motivate, Learn, Love! Sharing & Creating Illuminating Dance for All to Learn & Enjoy
