I make connections between ideas, objects missions, concepts, people which first may not appear to be related at all. It's like the Six Degrees of Everything. That perspective on the world is what inspires me to tell unique stories and spotlight different perspectives for people to ponder, whether through art, photography or writing. Pop culture is my passion and I rely on it to be my barometer for what is true and timeless and what is a 15 mins-of-fame facade. My goal as an artist and as a human being is to help people rediscover their inspiration, creativity and human connection. We live in a time when differences are exploited and similarities are ignored. I want my art to foster a level playing field. I want it to present familiar things from a different angle and I want it to be a connector of people, regardless of who they are, where they live, what they believe in or who they love. If for one moment my art makes an impact on someone and connects two someones then that's what true success looks like to me.
