Visual Art – Vancouver
Samantha Gerrit was born in Vancouver, BC but has spent most of her life in the Okanagan. Gerrit graduated in April of 2013 from the University of British Columbia Okanagan where she obtained her BFA, majoring in Visual studies. Her focus is painting and photography with a strong academic background in history.
Over the years Gerrit has been interested in portraiture, fantasy, and nature. At the moment, nature, specifically landscape, is an occurring theme in her work which has evolved to abstract landscapes.
