Beauty – Toronto
My name is Samira Abedi and I am a film and fashion makeup artist, and a graduate of CMU College of Makeup Art and Design. I moved to Toronto from Montreal one year ago to pursue my dreams of being apart of creative projects such as film work, fashion makeup, etc. Since graduating CMU, I have been Head Makeup Artist for a documentary for Egale Canada, have done a spec commercial, and applied special effects on a horror film. I also work as a freelance artist for several cosmetic brands. I love that this industry allows me to use my skills in a variety of ways, whether it is beauty makeup or out of kit effects.
