Absnt.Mndd

Sam Wendell (or Absnt.Mndd) is an artist and illustrator from Cincinnati who's currently studying Architecture at the University of Cincinnati. He takes inspiration from Surrealism, Pop Art, late 90's/early 2000s Anime, Psychedelic art, punk culture, and street art. He is mostly self taught in illustration, however studying Architecture helped build a solid foundation to expand off of. Sam started out with working on character designs, but he now focuses on surreal portraits that deconstruct the human form and focus on emptiness and absent mindedness.
