Savage Shreds was formed in 2011. After Ashley (one of the co-owners) started attending local music shows in the Phoenix, Arizona area; she wanted to wear shirts that were cooler and different than all the other usual shirts that everyone was wearing. Ashley saw shirts that had been cut, but they were pretty plain and lacking in style. Jason (the other co-owner) had over ten Metallica t-shirts that he had been keeping for years. He offered his vintage concert tees to Ashley to see if she could doctor them into something appealing to women. After working on a couple shirts, Ashley had a few that really popped. When she wore them out, people asked where she got them! That year the two went out to one of the biggest concert in the state. Ashley rocked a Savage Shreds shirt and the two were asked all concert long where the shirt came from. Since then, Savage Shreds has been making edgy, fun, cute, unique shirts for women. Savage Shreds is an environmentally conscious company. All of our shirts are recycled. Even our scraps are re-purposed!
