Sean B. Porter

I am an Artist from Pittsburgh, born and raised. I draw inspiration from many things, experiences, dreams, and the world around me. I enjoy bold and interpretive designs and try to incorporate this into my work. I attended art schools for most of my education, but never really found a path until after I started a family. I have settled into a style that expresses my feelings and moods. Mostly my work is abstract but other elements sneak their way into some pieces. Art has allowed me to express myself without words in a way that nothing else can. Stained glass and sculpture have influenced much of my body of work. Much of my art is expressed through painting these days, photography, metal and wood sculpture, stained glass and costuming are all mediums that I enjoy exploring.
