Performing Art – Cleveland

Sharmayne Sellers started dancing at age nine, choreographing at 14, and her choreography started winning top awards in national competitions by age 18. She trained in ballet, jazz, and modern dance at Bowling Green State University, and is self-taught in hip hop. She has earned two Master of Education degrees, is a licensed school counselor. She has also been running her own dance company, Mayne Attraction Studios, for over 6 years, and is the CEO of a non-profit organization that has offered free dance lessons to hundreds of children each year. When she's not counseling or dancing, she's training, and has trained at some of the top studios in the country, such as Broadway Dance Center and Millennium Dance Complex. Sharmayne's newest venture is Shar & Sassy Heals, offering women the opportunity to find healing,empowerment, and sisterhood through dance and discussion.
