Sim Shwen is a womenswear brand from Sydney, Australia, designed by Sim Shwen Lim.
Sim Shwen has an elegant, contemporary view on design with a focus on creating products that are unique, easy to wear with special feminine details such as lace and embroidery. We strive to create items that will be worn for many years, whilst still being modern and reflecting the personality of the wearer. We are accessible and approachable, with all our designs photographed on non-professional models.
Sim Shwen takes inspiration from the gentle arts of the past, reinterpreting them for women now with modern silhouettes, techniques and motifs. Sim Shwen is ethically conscious, with a percentage of all proceeds donated to charity.
My husband Chris is my assistant with constructive criticism, photography and extra hands. I live with Chris, my baby, Manny and my lovely ragdoll cat, Sven in Sydney. You can find me on Instagram @simshwen.
