Visual Art – Austin

I\'ve been drawing and painting since I was a little girl. Art is a part of me and I it. Much like Alice and her looking glass, the two are inextricably intertwined. I\'m not trying to make a statement or show the inequities of the world through my art (I talk about that enough though). I visualize, I conceptualize, I digest and regurgitate the disgustingly mundane. I make unicorns out of fat ponies and super models out of bobble headed bimbos. If you\'re looking for deeper meaning in my images - I certainly didn\'t put it there, you did. Beyond that, I\'m a Texan born and raised in a small town vacuum. I\'ve lived for 37 years and have meandered to Austin to mingle with the green, hipster crowd (with much love). I love my Mama. I adore my husband and I defy the evil economic machine by working shitty jobs to keep me in paints and cat food. There\'s not a lot more to say... unless you buy me a few beers.
